We are a small friendly toddler group that meets term-time on a Monday morning in the Church hall and, also in the enclosed garden in the summer. Fairtrade tea and coffee are included along with the ever-popular toast with dairy free spread. Disabled toilet with baby changing unit (please take your nappies home).
The cost is £2 per family and at the end of the year donations are made to charities decided by the group.

Springboard support children with additional needs and disabilities. Speaking with local parents, I think there is interest in getting children out in nature more and I’d like to start the ball rolling for a group of parents and children who can meet regularly and do this. Not an organised toddler group but a meeting of families who have a love of nature! We have some lovely beaches along the coastline and I’m putting Sugarloaf Bay forward as a suggestion because it has good parking and access and has been a big hit with the children I work with, of all ages. So what’s the idea? To get together and let children of all ages explore and play together. I’m thinking babies and preschoolers during term time then older siblings join in during school holidays. For the parents to bring their own ideas, knowledge and fun to the experience. For parents to also step back a bit, where possible, and let the children create social connections and to become independent. For the parents to meet other parents and have their own social opportunity. For word of mouth to grow the group, inviting anyone from any area to come and join in.
