Long story short, last year I was chatting to a lovely lady at our local networking group who’d started a business offering companionship & support to older people. I remember listening & thinking, I’d love to do that for Mums after having a baby. It’s a time where information, reassurance & a little practical support could make all the difference. Someone then said “that’s a Doula”. I’d previously thought Doula’s helped expectant parents before & during birth, but they were right, a Postnatal Doula was what I was thinking of. After a lot of research I found that Birthbliss Academy we’re doing a course in Bristol, & it covered both Antenatal & Postnatal, so I booked myself on it. Kicki Hansard took the course, & I can hand on heart say that her knowledge was spot on & the course was excellent. I’m really pleased to say that she’s back in Bristol in February & you can find all the Course Details & Booking Information right here.
